Seawater Sauna

Set beside Lymington’s historic seawater baths, this poolside shepherd’s hut sauna pairs comforting heat with refreshing dips in an unheated seawater pool. Handcrafted by Lymore Huts, the sauna seats eight people and features a traditional alder wood interior and an electric HUUM Hive stove. Outside, the 110-metre open-air pool offers space to swim or dip in a coastal setting. It has a shingle bottom and depths ranging from 0.8 to 1.8 metres. Communal morning and evening sessions run Thursday to Sunday, costing £15 per person for a maximum of eight guests. Private sessions are also available on request during these days, at £80 for a group of up to eight. For a guided experience, Sauna Master Jo Styles leads one- or two-hour rituals combining heat cycles, water, scent and moments of stillness. These are available as communal or private sessions, on request or as scheduled.
