The HERD café is open on session days for hot drinks and food - worth factoring into your visit. Bookable as private sessions or individual seats, with clear guidance for first-timers and enough structure for regulars building a consistent routine. Six adults maximum. Clean, considered, and warmly run. Part of BYRE Sauna's wider mission to make year-round sauna access part of everyday rural life - not a city luxury. East Lothian is well placed for it: good countryside, the coast nearby, and far enough from Edinburgh to feel remote. If you're coming from the city, combine it with a walk along the East Lothian coastline or a stop in North Berwick on the way back.
